My Dad grew up in the Kalahari, so this immediately made me think of him. Brief, but personally very appealing, nice one.

Thank you! Sure is! The world's largest non-subglacial underground lake, deep beneath the Kalahari, 100m down the Dragon's Breath Cave, "named for the moist air rising from it's entrance".
