Dragonfly Night
deep blue
settles over the water~
silhouetted dragonflies
rise like small shadows.
dandelions drift upward,
carrying gold from the swamp
into the warm September air~
a quiet reminder
that even darkness
is only one way
the world learns
to release its light.
