very nice image which could be done as a haiku to be done as a haiku it must have 2 parts [not 1] 2 phrases, no complete sentences because a haiku's goal is to capture 1 moment in time - so you do not know the beginning or the end it is for the reader to fill in [that's why it isn't to be a sentence.] so to write this as a haiku you would write [ a dragonfly hovers: within the purple band/of the rainbow] one can image seeing both things at the same moment! & it is now 2 parts conceptually connected & with 2 line both grammatically & conceptually connected connected
