Dozens of Roses For My Mother
A dozen of roses for your Pain,
That I have put you through.
A dozen of roses for your tears,
That I have bestowed upon you.
A dozen of roses for my sorrow,
And all of my forgiveness.
A dozen of roses for your smile,
And the joy I get from your happiness.
A dozen of roses for your forgiveness,
That never seems to fail.
A dozen of roses for your childhood,
For it wasn’t a fairy tale.
A dozen of roses for your care,
Cuz the fairy-tale I’m close to.
A dozen of roses for my hero,
Which will always be you.
A dozen of roses for your confidence in me,
That never ceased to be.
A dozen of roses for your love for me,
That has always comforted me.
A dozen of roses for you always being there,
And being the first face I see.
And a dozen of roses for my love for you,
That is forever and eternity.
