Down To the Wire
I'd stop time if that was real
But that is beyond any control
So I'll do the next best thing
Let it be & good times'll roll
I've often led our lives astray
I know better how I will pursue
A meaning of life is being true
And I am blessed to be with you
Our lives get a little hectic
We tend to speak what we mean
Honesty is what truly matters
Not ending with could've been
We can walk our path together
To right where we both desire
Life's being with one another
Loving right down to the wire
