Doves

A sad little turtle dove,
Looked down at the world from above,
He was unable to sing,
Singing had somehow lost its zing,
Singing expresses joy in life,
From his view, he only saw strife.
His Father sat by the sad little bird,
And sang words so soothing,
The most beautiful melody ever heard,
The little turtle dove smiled at his dad,
Suddenly he felt happy, glad,
As together, these two turtle doves,
Both started to sing songs of hope and love.
