Dove of Delight

Midnight stars shine as you enter the gloomy room Darkness dims away and there's hardly any gloom I simply smile and nod and say nothing much like always It's been a while since you and I shared childlike days I'll make it out alive in this dark cave barely I'll help you and save you, you of little bravery It's time to leave it all behind - the sorrow Don't worry, for I'm here, even till tomorrow Happiness is a teardrop away from my lonely reach Our home is a million miles away from this lovely beach Have mercy upon my brokenhearted spirits of hope Free me from this captivity within me, for I can cope I'll try and be your remedy of relief...my sweet darling...
