Dove of Delight
Midnight stars shine as you enter the gloomy room
Darkness dims away and there's hardly any gloom
I simply smile and nod and say nothing much like always
It's been a while since you and I shared childlike days
I'll make it out alive in this dark cave barely
I'll help you and save you, you of little bravery
It's time to leave it all behind - the sorrow
Don't worry, for I'm here, even till tomorrow
Happiness is a teardrop away from my lonely reach
Our home is a million miles away from this lovely beach
Have mercy upon my brokenhearted spirits of hope
Free me from this captivity within me, for I can cope
I'll try and be your remedy of relief...my sweet darling...
I'll cry away your sad tears of grief...you're my everything
Haven't you forgotten your sanity?
Don't even give in to rotten vanity
Don't pretend that we are together forever
Don't make it seem like we are for the better
Let me go if I must go, my lonesome love
I seek love from above and I am His dove
I flutter into creamy clouds of gray and white
I utter words of wisdom as I take divine flight
I embrace your face and seek first delight gracefully
I give a kiss to the trace of tremendous tranquility
