Dove

I once had a pure white dove But it flew away. Now all I have is a dark black bird For eternity. The pure white dove was you And I let you go Now the darkness inside of me Consumes my heart and soul Never again will I feel the warmth of your hand in mine Nor will I have the comfort as our hearts intertwine Some people may like me Others may feel love But all of them will fly away Like my pure white dove.
