Double-Faced
He assures you he's truly
a consensus guy;
autocratic ways and schemes he just
doesn't buy;
and that he's all out for candid
consultation
that makes for true bottom-up
communication.
He tells you he's read your group's
every suggestion
to ensure success of the
organization.
But although he seems open-minded, fair
and kind,
you get the feeling he has long made up
his mind.
Beneath his mantra on free-wheeling
discussion
lurks the threat of a condition
sine qua non:
you're free to put all ideas
into question,
just don't mess around with his final
decision!
