Double Rainbow

I

Sunlight through rain
Splits prisms into
Glorious colours
Exquisite to view.

Amethyst and amber,
Emerald and sapphire,
Arc above our eyes
And make us admire.

II

A veil of tears
Cascades from her eyes,
Her cold, sad heart
Shows no disguise.

The colour of her heart
And emotions are clear
As we see them revealed
Through every tear.
