Doppelganger

An evil twin, an omen, aftermath of resurrection
Folklore states no shadow and even no reflection
Bad luck, it's thought, for earthly counterparts to see
Live in fear of sighting twisted, naughty second me.

Ghostly double of the living that's only up for haunting
To have an eerie side to me has never seemed so daunting
Deluded that a version of me exists somewhere else
Bilocation, malice, freely giving duff advice

Faceless before mirrors and a well known shape shifter
Covered up the truth about the whereabouts of Hitler
My alter ego, double goer, trouble maker pro
A phantom self that doesn't have no other place to go.

Interesting write. I used to get told I was David Seaman's Doppelganger. Seaman was a famous English sportsman (England's Goal-keeper at football). With more years and less hair now, I doubt that I still look like him ... LOL!
