Doppelganger
I look in the mirror to see my face
It’s me but not me as I try to touch it and trace
I pass my hand across my chin
It looks at me with a sinister grin
It stares at me with its stoic pose
As I move and krinkle up my nose
It’s dark and dangerous something evil from beneath
Its only movement is when I show my teeth
I see no humanity in it with everything that has been shown
I try to talk to it but it only lest out a moan
It cannot be me it’s twisted and full of anger
Then I realize its not just a ghostly doppelganger
