Doors
DOORS
A simple little door, rectangular like most, but not the same
No not at all, this little door is more than what it claims
It is a door with no future, a pathway to the end
Step into its darkness to never return again
It calls you, it beckons you to reach for the lever
Coaxing you, demanding you, this little door is so clever
Turn me, turn me slowly let all the suspense build
As soon as you hear it click open its prophecy is fullfilled
It releases such a darkness as it pours into the room
Surrounding every particle in a black world full of doom
The whispering, so many voices, but they all seem ok
But of course you can't really understand one word they say
One foot, then two feet, keep going your almost there
Looking back as it closes you into a world of nowhere...
