Don'T Watch the News

They say that . They say this.
They draw us near to the abyss 
Pointless words that fill an answer 
Said in stealth that feed a cancer

Opinions held with such conviction
Spun with guile  and only fiction
Caring not for all or many
But interest only in gold or penny

Who voted for the chinless wonder 
Why does no one see his plunder
Can a war be waged by hate
It was your vote...is it to late ?
