Don'T Walk
walk two steps look up see blue hue dotted with odd
walk three steps glance left witness sea gloriously barren, fish mutated
walk four steps stare right at height lowered spirit’s demise
walk five steps in sight of remote view through lens skewed by judge
walk six steps hit drop yet fallen strong so grown exhale corrupt
walk seven steps slumber boredom seizes stretched limit snap back
walk eight steps caught in act convicted sentenced to death in Yemen
walk nine steps halt held puppet porcelain shun drive
walk one step, crept closer daily so cruel inevitable finale
Don’t walk.
