Don'T Take Too Long

It don’t take too long for this honey to catch some bees
The same amount of time it took you to warm up to me
So don’t think you have til the end of time
I was in love but I wasn’t blind
Don’t get me wrong
always looked but in your honor
And out of respect for you I never touched
DON’T TAKE TOO LONG
You’ll be sorry
Don’t make me wait forever
I’ll be gone
Someone else will come around
Someone else will stay down
They’ll see my loyalty
It’s not hard to love me
I’m not hard to please
And very easy to satisfy
Let me tell you something
This is no ultimatum
I’m not gonna hold this position open 
forever
Somebody has to work here
And do a damn good job to get paid
Ya understand
I’m going to give you a certain amount of time
then I’m leaving
Deleting you from my hearts files
Cause you will prove to me that you are not up for it
I’m going to give you thirty days
But more time is not guaranteed
I want someone to take care of me 
We’ll see.
