Don’t Take My Blessing Away When I want to give you my heart and soul, Please let me play an instrumental role. As I try to make you happy each day, Please don’t take my blessing away. When I ask you to let me take part, In an attempt to heal your broken heart. If I succeed, let me say, Please don’t take my blessing away. When I send love from a far, Let me come and linger where you are. No one will attempt to make you stay, While I’m here, don’t take my blessing away.
