Don'T Take Life For Granted

There are things in our past that we cannot change.
I've made mistakes, overtaken by fury and rage.
But now I see that it was not worth it, to let my emotions take control over me.
The future, unknown it is, you see.
Life is a gift, meant to be cherished, use your time to uplift.
Sorrow is temporary, unless you cling to it and make it permanent, consistent.
Joy is meant to last, stop being so resistant.
Nobody wants to be alone, without love or peace.
Ask God for mercy and his everlasting grace.
No matter how many trials and tribulations you face.
He will always be there to comfort and embrace you, to take away your pain.
Afterall, hope and faith shall remain.
Remember how precious time is and don't take it for granted, treasure every precious day and moment you are given.
Its a blessing to be forgiven.
In the middle of so much evil and hate.
Nurture love and compassion in your children, don't overprotect them, don't become irate.
For only God knows our fate.
Change the way you think, become a blessing to a stranger.
Keep watch and be alert to ever present danger.
Anger is a choice, therefore I choose to rejoice.
In the end we only have one life.
Don't waste it and decide to live in strife.
The truth is words have power and they can change the world.
No matter what we were once told.
Hold on to your family and stay connected, entwined together.
Realizing and knowing that nothing, lasts forever.
