Don't pass me by

Don't pass me by says the baby

in his mother womb

God already has a plan for my life

please don't think of getting

rid of me to soon.

Don't pass me by ,says the toddler

in his crib,

mommy there wont be a lot of days

like this where I am crying and whining

all the time because I know you and daddy

need to have your own quite time,

but could you pick me up and hold me

one more time.

Don't pass me by, says a little boy cry

while he is running up to a Ice cream truck

in hopes to get a ice cream cone but

with no such luck.

Don't pass me by, say the preteen boy

who while riding his bike and came a cross

a stray dog on the street,

he says ,come home with me

and I will name you Pete.

Don't pass me by say the teenager boy

to a young girl at school

he says, would you like to go with me

to the spring dance Saturday,?

I think your cute and I will pick you up at 8

and I will try not to be late.

Don't pass me by says the young man

at his girl friends feet,

he say, will you marry me?

I will make a great husband just

you wait and see.

Don't pass me up say the daddy to

his new daughter

as the doctor places her in his arms

he say ,I just could not wait to hold you much longer.

Don't pass me up says the older

dad to his son

he say, make sure before you marry

this girl, that she is the one,

why don't you go to collage to make sure

you get a good job.

but it what ever make you and your sister happy

but you know you can talk to me about any thing

because your pappy.

Don't pass me up says the Grandpa to

his grandchildren

he says, me and granny get kind of lonely

maybe you could stop by a little more

and could you please stop by and pick

me up a bag of that soft candy at the groceries store?

Don't pass me by says the Grandpa

who has now passed away,

he says, God I have tried to be a good boy

and son and the best husband and father a playful grandpa.

I tried ,as he got down on his knees and cry, Please

Don't pass me by.
