Please don't look into my eyes
My love for you I want to disguise
For if you were to look into them
My heart I fear I could not defend
Keep it hidden this love I feel
What I feel I'm not ready to reveal
I want to keep it locked away
Still searching for the right words to say
Fear of how you will react
Will I keep my heart intact
This love I wish not to impart
Have to keep from falling apart
So please don't look into my eyes
My love I don't want you to realize
Don't want you to look in my soul
To see how deeply this love goes
