The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Don'T Let Your Tears Fall On My Shoulder

Don't let your tears fall on my shoulder
I can't feel them anymore
So you're just a little colder
It's not me you're crying for
I will let the river pass me
Tho' it flows right to my door
I can't hear your drowning sorrow anymore

When you said you'd stay beside me
How was I to know you lied
You were only waiting daybreak
Till you'd say your sad good-bye
Now the table's turning baby
So you're about to cry
I can't hear your empty mourning anymore

Don't let those tears fall on my shoulder
I don't know you anymore
Now you're just a little older
But it's not me you're crying for
I will let the river pass me
Tho' it flows right to my door
I can't hear you, I don't need you anymore
