Don'T Know

The truth is written on the wall but it's in a foreign language
you walked past it and smiled at the colorful letters
you appreciate the greens and the blues but decided that translating it is just not for you
Then the day you fall and start crying for answers and wonder why everyone stares with such blankness
staying trapped inside boredom, frustrated with life yet do nothing about it but hide from what's right
it's much easier to repeat the same nothingness chore than to go seek something better
you could have so much more
may as well close our eyes and keep them shut than to open them again to a life of ifs and buts
