Don'T Deny Me You

Your mouth is saying no
I can't deny what I chose to ignore
I just can’t tell with all these mistakes I’m making
The path isn't’ clear so its not worth taking
All the scratch marks on the page
blur together to combine into a harmonious black
The rhythm of these lines push me toward where I need to be going
I don't want to hurt you but I like you so much
So much. I know how to embarrass myself
Just by talking to you, I act like a fool.
Its just your eyes are saying yes
Along with my heart
I'm ignoring it but we can't deny what we both want
Period.
The end all. The blank space before the start of a new beginning.
