Dont Dare

You say they have no feelings,
That it shouldn't matter anyways.
But I don't care.
I disagree.
If only I could make you see.

Picture this,
two young playful pups,
nipping at eachother
one gets cut,
and starts to yelp puttin' you in a rut.

THis barking isn't
just for the heck of it,
he's hurting.
Can't you see?
Yet you think the crazy one is me.

They feel the pain.
It hurts them so.
But no one even cares.
Dont dare tell me they don't feel,
just to avoid guilt over your next meal.
