Don'T Cry For Me When I'M Gone

Treat people well while they're alive. It's too late to be sad and experience grief and regret once they're gone. Unfortunately, too many people experience this, and it can often be avoided. Don't cry for me when I'm gone By Michelle Morris 06/01/2023 Don't cry for me when I'm gone Do not lament the loss For nothing can change It's too late to count the cost My ghost won't stick around For my soul is heavenbound I am free from you and pain I am free from human pride Treat me well in this moment Give that genuine smile now Flowers and chocolate treats Are memorable and lovely wows Make the most of our time together You never know what comes next The stars align and destinies merge The Universe has its quest Don't cry for me when I'm gone It's way too late to show me you care Give me love and friendship while I'm alive Show me empathy and kind effort For we only have one life And we only get limited chances Make the most of your relationships And leave warmth in all our hearts © Michelle Morris, 2023

Truly, the moment is now. Now’s moment will pass.

Absolutely. I think everyone gets so wrapped up in their lives that they miss many important small moments that land up being those big things they remember when they lose loved ones. :-)
