Don'T Cry

Don’t cry for me, don’t waste your tears
I’m gone and I will be tomorrow.
No pools of tears will bring me back
So what’s the use in your sorrow?

Smile for me, read through my words
Remember our times together
My joy lives on if you share our tales
Ill be safe in your heart then forever.

Don’t cry for me don’t hurt yourself
Your sadness wont bring me back
If you hold me close, if you hide away
Your life will be shadowed in black.

Smile for me, let me go
Be thankful that once there was ‘we’
Dust yourself off and go out in the world
So you can set me free.
