Don'T Believe Everything You Hear

Don’t Believe Everything You Hear By Elton Camp You may be in for a nasty surprise, you see If you blindly accept the name on Caller I.D. It may show the name of a company you trust Verifying before giving information is a must Ask yourself just why it would be on earth That they ask Social Security and day of birth A lame explanation the caller may even try “It’s for your safety that we need to identify.” And if it’s your credit card number they’d know Just tell the agent that is not anywhere you go Or demand a number to which you can call back That will throw the scamster way off the track No matter how friendly the caller may sound Refuse to answer—firmly hold your ground And an even better way to handle it than that Just hang up the phone with a very loud splat
