Don'T Be Fooled

You feel like you are better than the rest.
Your haunting eyes behind a crumpled chest.
The way you feel doesn't matter to me.
Keep your hateful words.
Pretend I don't exist and I'll ignore your petty requests.
You've said too much too soon.
I'll never forget the day I started hating you.
You can hide behind your acts of kindness only for so long.
Eventually they will find out who you really are.
That person who regrets in the end, who they actually are.
