Don'T Be Afraid of the Rain

You said you've been hurt before,
he left you with a broken heart;
that must be painful to you,
but girl, listen to what I say.

Don't be afraid of the rain,
don't be afraid of the rain,
tears won't save you from the pain,
don't be afraid of the rain.

You tried to hide from the world,
that's a big mistake you've made;
remember life is in your hand,
you can change it if you want.

Now take my hand in your hand,
give yourself a second chance;
together we can make the sun shine,
brighten up our days with a smile.
