Don’t be afraid and let your feelings hide
I won’t hurt you and if you need me I’ll be by your side
I know you've been hurt before but don’t blame me for her mistakes
Let me prove my love to you baby and show you it’s real not fake
I know it will take time to trust me but it’s worth the wait
But your're still hurt by the past and don’t know if you can date
And I respect your decision all I ask for is just one chance
To show you the true feeling of happiness in a romance
So don’t be afraid of my touch and know everything is going to be ok
And if you need to get it out and cry I can wipe those tears away
You say you’re not feeling like a man good you can be my king
Because if you give your love to me you can have anything
I know that you are not used to someone treating you this way
But baby don’t be afraid and run tell me that I can stay
I can put the pieces back together I can mend your heart
Don’t be afraid to let the past go to let a new journey start
