Don'T Be a Stranger To Love

I was outside walking by
locking eyes real nice with a passerby
and wondered how often did they shed tears?

It's nobody's secret
we've had our weeping
I had my times when the Holy Ghost meets me
and he says "son, it's gonna be alright."
Tell me the reason
I don't believe him
"nothing makes sense"
don't you let that come creep in
cause I know someday he'll tell us why.

Blood sweat and tears throughout humanity
now we love money so much, it's insanity
the human heart grows cold by the minute
It seems like our love has diminished
to judge so quick seems to come easily
pointing out mistakes
while forgetting your own history
how's it love if we hate in an instant?
Love is not real if there is no forgiveness

It's nobody's secret
we've had our weeping
I had my times when the Holy Ghost meets me
and he says "son, it's gonna be alright."
Tell me the reason
I don't believe him
"nothing makes sense"
don't you let that come creep in
cause I know someday he'll tell us why
