Don'T Be

It can be frightening
It can be gallant

It can be humbling
It can be triumphant

When a curveball is thrown, be ready and take your best swing
When the microphone is passed, stand tall and
sing

Don't be hardened like the callus on your heel
protect the heart but allow it to feel

Don't be dismayed
when dreams are delayed

Don't be sad
when things seem all bad

DO NOT be consumed by arrogance
when you're reveling in the blessings of abundance

So, be encouraged today
the divine is always sending light your way
