Sinking deeper and deeper No help coming My only rope is frayed and made of words Nothing solid to grip All alone in the muck and mire Frantically splashing my arms and legs to find my way out But there is none All my pleading, wailing and prayers seem to go unanswered... I am done.

Heni, I can read a lot more into your poem than the eleven lines that you have written. I think that is the sign of a great poem. Your poem really struck a chord with me. Very well written, I enjoyed reading it so much. I also hope you are well my dear. Leigh x :-)

Leigh, Thank you so much for your kind comments!! You really are perceptive and I wrote this when I was at my lowest low last year when we were inundated with problems. We are not quite out of them yet but we are handling them much differently and things are somewhat better. We now take one breath at a time, one day at a time and are grateful for what we have and look forward to better days.

You have written a really sad and beautiful poem, the emotion of humans when notjing is going in their way, even God is not listening, what to do in that case? Have patience and trust in God, when life is going against you, just bown down and pray to God, when it is going like you want it to be, again bow down and thank God, don't worry my friend, the help of God is certainly on the way, good luck andhave a really nice day
