Done

Sinking deeper and deeper
No help coming
My only rope is frayed and made of words
Nothing solid to grip
All alone in the muck and mire
Frantically splashing my arms and legs
to find my way out
But there is none
All my pleading, wailing and prayers
seem to go unanswered...
I am done.

You really are perceptive and I wrote this when I was at my lowest low last year when we were inundated with problems. We are not quite out of them yet but we are handling them much differently and things are somewhat better. We now take one breath at a time, one day at a time and are grateful for what we have and look forward to better days.
