Domestic Conflict

There's an internal battle
Between light and shadow
The beast from within 
Verses the peace from within
The darkness verse's the light
Who will win the fight
Its a war to control
The essence of my soul

Should I go this way
And embrace dismay
Should I let the beast
To attend my feast
Or do I follow the light
Is that who I invite
Do I accept Gods glory
Or refute his story
