We invite unnecessary conflict,
when avoiding things we should do.
Pain and suffering we oft inflict,
or we find ourselves in a stew.
Gratitude will always follow,
each time we do the right thing.
In the bed we make, we’ll wallow,
and avoid any grumpiness sting
1 Thessalonians 5: 18
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
