Doing Away With Hesitation
I hesitated once or twice
I can't pay the price
Take it by the grain of rice
You're my living sacrifice
Oh oooh…
Ah oooh...
I hesitated once or twice
I can't pay the price
Take it by the grain of rice
You're my living sacrifice
Oh oooh…
Ah oooh...
I hesitated once or twice
Yet, I can't turn out the light, the light...
I can't pay the price, price
Even if I go outside into the night…
I hesitated once or twice
Now, I have to pay the price
I feel the urge to cry, the urge to cry
Can't deny; this time, I'll give it a try
Take it by the grain of rice and be mine, my long-lost dear
You're my fire and ice - oh, come on and just hold me near
Oh oooh…
Ah oooh...
I hesitated once or twice
Yet, I can't turn out the light, the light...
I can't pay the price, price
Even if I go outside into the night…
I hesitated once or twice
Now, I have to pay the price
I feel the urge to cry, the urge to cry
Can't deny; this time, I'll give it a try
I've been sober for a while now
Sober from my addictions somehow
God is always there for me, no matter what
I don't even care if this is a hit song or not
I've been sober for a while now
Sober from my addictions somehow
God is always there for me, no matter what
I don't even care anymore…I'll give it my best shot
I hesitated once or twice
I can't pay the price
Take it by the grain of rice
You're my living sacrifice
Oh oooh…
Ah oooh…
I hesitated once or twice
I can't pay the price
Take it by the grain of rice
You're my living sacrifice
Oh oooh…
Ah oooh...
No longer do I feel hesitation
No longer do I feel so frustrated
No longer do I feel agitation
No longer do I feel disoriented
I feel somewhat hopeful and joyous
I don't feel alone, sad and anxious
The future has so much in store
For you and I, a future I adore
I feel like shutting down,
Yet rising up once more
With an upside down frown
And a heart that will soar
