Dog Walk

  Walking in the morning,
  Should always be a longing.
  Walking at night is such a delight!
  Seeing the world from a different view,
  Pups are always aware of stuff over there!
  Only a cat or two distracts from the view.
  Every blade of grass is made to sniff,
  It has history which will last.
  Each mailbox along the way has pee mail,
  New every day!
  Walking early in the morning is such a delight,
  No other dogs up early,
  None we have to fight!
  Less cats out in the cold of the day.
  How I long to walk every day.
  Night walks are great too.
  The moon light,
  Changes each sight.
  Wish we had a ladder,
  To climb up on top.
  View the world at night,
  Identify anything that might not be alright!
