I like dogs more than I like people. Oops, did I say that out loud?? All kidding aside, what a charming, concise ode to our little furry friends. Their love and loyalty are unmatched by any other creature on earth. Loved it Sally, thank you for sharing and bringing a big smile to this sour and scornful brow

May all dogs go to heaven. They dirty our streets in Malta.

Sally, this is so very sweet. What inspired you write this one? Dogs and humans have a special bond.

Duke! Our little girl, long-hair dashund with a slight terrier or cocker mix) is exactly as this poem tells. Every morn by my feet on bed she wakes , i ask Where were U allnight? I’ve poems on here abt every dog I/we’ve had. They all have a story & a (sent) lesson to teach.
