Does It Matter
I wonder if it matters that I no longer feel
the same when I look at you.
Does it matter that I don't get
the same warm feeling inside when you touch me?
Does it even matter that my eyes no longer light up
at the mere mention of your name
Does it matter that when your name comes across my screen
my heart no longer skips a beat
Does it matter that my face no longer light up
when I see your face
Does it matter that you rarely cross my mind anymore, when
there once was a time that you were all I ever thought about
I just wonder, does it matter?
