Does Drinking and Sensitivity Combine

My oversensitivity And the way you've been with me Are not a good combination When your drunk and always starting With the words that make me cry No matter how hard I try To not let it get me down My emotions come around Knocking me over so hard I can never disregard These feelings that pop up When I see you with a cup Filled with liquor turning you Into someone dark and new Wishing I could find a place To hide when you get booze faced So I don't have to endure This side of you that I abhor But my heart is on my sleeve And I will not learn or leave The love I have is too strong Even when your doing wrong Desertion is not an option Years have got me way too lost in This relationship to drop All the love inside my heart That's overflowing with my care I will never disappear Working on a way to find Help so you can leave behind A bad habit that has been The only issue that must end So we can live happily No more booze or sensitivity Will keep us from our destined path To have a love that always lasts

Must also say that this better be fiction or I'm gonna whoop somebody's butt for hurting you! Not on my watch! Overflowing with strong emotion, Sweet Pea <3

The reader can tell that you are a very caring person with a good heart, who only wants the best for those she loves. This is another one of your poems that unfortunately, I can relate to. Keep up the great work, Robin!...Thank you so much for all of the wonderful comments today!

You write so sincerely from the heart that I cannot tell if you are writing fiction or from true life experience. I hope this is fiction. Well done.
