Doctor's Prescription

Broken

Forsaken

Left to die

I strive to survive

To conquer this thing called Life.

Consumed in strife

Swallowed by life

I suffocate.

Trying to figure out

Grasping questions in my head

I live to survive

To watch men die.

I fly into the sky

To find a place to cry

To alleviate the pain

I feel piercing through my veins.

Is God real?

Why can't I live as he prescribed?
