Yams are strange starchy vegetables.
I'm quite partial to orange-fleshed sweet potatotes.
They make a wonderful soup !

LOL ~ actually the soup I like to make is sooooo simple ~ only 3 ingredients: 1 sweet potato (cooked, I do it in the microwave), 2 cups chicken broth, 1 can of coconut milk. No spices ! It is surprisingly tasty for something so easy !
