Do You Surrender
A feeling never felt
a time within itself
what shall i do
while I’m feeling these blues
ever since you told me your news
Do you see my tears
Do you hear my cries
Do you feel what I feel
down inside
Because you’re the reason why
I lay awake at night
wondering what tomorrow brings
and how you’ll hold me tight
cuz it’s just right
to be here with you (tonight)
Holding me tight your hand in mine,
trying to find a piece of mind
Your lips against my lips
a sweet surrendered kiss
within the light mist
what a pleasant gift
until the fire died
within his eyes
cuz it’s alright
If you feel this too
And it’s alright
if you miss me too
Because you have my hearts key
so come and go as you please
But do you see my tears
do you hear my cries
do you feel what I feel
every single night
Because you’re the reason why
I lay awake tonight
wondering what tomorrow brings
