Do You Remember When

Do you remember when, there was still love in your heart? Can you remember what was important, before this world fell apart? Do you remember when you still loved this country and our flag? Can you think of a time, when you didn’t hear the negative nags? Do you remember when you started to change? Can you even remember, why you made the choice to rearrange? Do you remember when, you lost your faith and chose to give up? Can you remember the time, before you had to give your brakes a good pump?

I am sorry Mark - you sound very sad and rightly so, we are home bound scared to go anywhere the virus is pretty bad, your poem is thought provoking as Jan says and as for our cars, we have only put fuel in 4 times since Covid started, as opposed to putting it in once a week! Sit tight my friend, things can't get much worse, let us all at poetry soup pray harder than we ever have, God will hear, for He is Love! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
