Do You Remember

Do you remember when we fell in love-

Heavy as the stone yet light as the dove.

Steps were short as we strolled through the park-

As not to rush time-we'd stay till dark.

Do you remember all the love we'd share-

I ran my fingers through your precious hair.

Whispers of sweet nothings as I massage your feet-

We wanted everyone to know- why be discreet?

Remember I said "I love you" as I gave you a rose-

Sealed it with a kiss on the tip of your nose.

Do you remember- it was back in the Spring-

The love of my life, it was you my everything

As the seasons complete January through December-

You completed me, tell me do you remember?

this was sweet. Wouldn't it be great to hold those same feelings for a lifetime? Vince
