Do You Know?

Do you know, when you have no home,
Just how it really hits you and feels?
Can you understand, because I don't think you can
You don't have enough mettle to deal

Have you ever felt, the cards that were dealt
Were done in a manner mean to ruin you?
To crush your poor heart and then tear apart
Everything you thought that you knew?

Tell me now, explain to me how
You say you could understand my pain
Your efforts and sorrys, you need not to worry
They don't matter, they're but in vain
