Do You Believe
Do you believe?
He’s a God and that isn’t good enough for me
He’s made you believe in things I can’t ever possibly see
He’s made the world an excuse to never live and let be
He’s turned your life into strife and a long misery
He’s fumbled with your mind to make you think that you’re free
He’s given them ideas to be thankful just for the birds in the trees
He’s made you believe that I am part of him and him part of me
He gives no excuses at all because he is of course Omni potently
He’ll give you a leg up in life but when you fall it’s the devil in thee
He’ll always look after his own but beware if you commit all heresy
He’s a building made of a story of a man on a cross who died for humanity
