Do You

What do you do when someone you care about is hurting? 
Do you stand by and watch as she slowly loses the will to live?
Do you do your best to encourage her to stay strong? 
If you know that she deliberately causes her self harm and has thoughts of death 
what do you do?
When you know that the only way to ease her pain is to get her away from those 
she loves, how do you cope?
When those who are meant to protect her are doing the opposite, do you stand 
by and watch?
When you know that before things get better things are going to get worse do you 
step in?  If you get involved are you responsible for that?
When you know that trying to help could cause more pain, do you proceed?
If you know she will lose one day if you don’t help but if you help she could lose 
anyway, do you take the risk?
Do you, do you?
