Do Poets Go

Do Poets go.

To a simple rhyme .
Wasting use of time.

Hoping for rare find.
In what may be divine.

Beyond any real bind.
Knowing of the kind.

Hoping not a grind.
In good use of lines.

Often green as pine.
Rising not to shine.

From what’s behind.
In value of dimes.

Using their minds.
Some liking wine.

Spin a simple rhyme.
Find poverty a sign.

Thank for the encouragement. Write mostly by inspiration. At times long periods of time inbetween. Confession: Often doubt comments I make in response to others.. Others comments seem so much better.
