Diwali

DIWALI-THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
 Divine and joyful
Indian Festival of lights,
Which unites
All religions.People 
Light lamps to attain 
Inner peace

They light up
Homes and cities,
Exchange sweets and gifts

Fun and excitement 
Everywhere. People throng
Stores to buy
The crackers and clothes,
Intrigue by the 
Vast collections.Both 
Adults and children
Love this festival.

On this auspicious day,
Friends and relatives meet.

Lighting a lamp
Illuminates our lives,
Generates joy, 
Happiness,and  
The word Diwali brings
Smiles across the country
